Research interests: Analytic methods in optimal control; Complex analysis, Functional analysis; Integral and integro-differential equations; Dynamical systems of mathematical genetics, mathematical theory of hypercycles, theory of normal forms; Hardy classes of matrix and operator functions, classical interpolation problems, Contraction operators and their invariant subspaces, theory of unitary colligations and couplings and its application for the harmonic analysis; Ergodic theory; C*-algebras and von Neumann algebras, topological groups; PDE: general theory, qualitative properties of solutions, uniqueness, boundary-value problems, control; Differential equations with retarded argument; Mathematical and statistical physics, kinetic theory of a gas, Boltzmann equation; Boundary value-problem for pseudo-differential equations; History of mathematics.
